Our Mission
EDify Talks is an international nonprofit that aims to educate the community, diversify the narrative & end the stigma around eating disorders and related issues. Related issues include body positivity & neutrality, health at every size, food freedom/intuitive eating, anti-diet culture, etc.

Our Goal
Eating disorders are the deadliest psychological illnesses, killing one person every fifty-two minutes. Eating disorders and body image are largely tied together, and the statistics are frightening. 81% of 10-year-olds are afraid of being fat. 78% of girls in the USA hate their bodies by age 17. 95% of college-age men are dissatisfied with their bodies. The majority of the next generation looks in the mirror & dislikes what they see. They pursue a path to a thinner body—not a healthier body—at the expense of their physical & mental health. Roughly 20% of those suffering from a serious eating disorder will die from it. Another 26% will attempt suicide. 10,200 deaths each year are the direct result of an eating disorder & each death could have been avoided. We must stop the increasing rate of eating disorder cases. Through EDify Talks, we will create change—for this generation & the future.
