Westport student creates diversity and inclusion program for children

It all started with an IDEA — inclusion and diversity through education, that is. Leigh Foran, a Staples High School junior, founded IDEA when she was a freshman. Recently, she won a national Call For Kindness competition sponsored by Riley’s Way Foundation, which awarded a $3,000 grant that will help her expand.
